ABESIT College of Pharmacy in collaboration with ABESIT Group of Institutions, under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) 2.0 initiative, successfully organized a *“Swasthya Jagrukta Abhiyaan”* at the Government Primary School in Lakhan village (adopted village of the institute).
Pharmacy students conducted an interactive health awareness session for primary school children, educating them about personal hygiene, hand-washing practices essential for disease prevention and overall well-being.
Along with awareness activities, a basic health screening camp was also carried out in which students’ **body weight, height, pulse rate, and oxygen saturation (SpO₂)** were recorded to promote early health monitoring and awareness among children and teachers.
The initiative aimed to instill healthy lifestyle practices from an early age and strengthen community engagement by promoting preventive healthcare in rural areas.
