In view of the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, AICTE, PCI and UGC, Ragging is a criminal offence.
It is mandatory for every technical institution to take the necessary action and steps to prevent, curb and eliminate the menace of Ragging in the campus and hostel.
The Anti-ragging committee is constituted with following members for session 2019-20.

The committee will come into force with immediate effect and will remain operative for one academic session.
The committee will function in accordance with AICTE regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, (hereinafter called the “Regulations”)
It shall be the duty of the Anti-Ragging Committee to ensure compliance with the provisions of these Regulations as well as the provisions of any law for the time being in force concerning ragging; and also to monitor and oversee the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in prevention of ragging in the institution.
