Plantation Drive 2025

Plantation Drive 2025 Successfully Conducted at ABESIT College of Pharmacy
Celebrating Sustainability Under National Pharmacy Week

As a part of the National Pharmacy Week 2025 celebrations, ABESIT College of Pharmacy organized an impactful and eco-focused Plantation Drive in the college Herbal Garden. Aligning with this year’s theme “Pharmacists as Advocates of Vaccination,” the initiative highlighted the dual responsibility of pharmacists — to support community health as well as environmental well-being.

The event encouraged students to plant saplings as a symbolic act of growth, renewal, and collective responsibility towards nature. Participants enthusiastically contributed to expanding the greenery on campus, reinforcing the idea that healthcare is interconnected with a healthy ecosystem.

Key Objectives & Impact of the Drive

  • To promote environmental awareness among budding pharmacists
  • To encourage responsibility toward nature, sustainability, and green living
  • To build appreciation for medicinal and herbal plant species
  • To strengthen the spirit of community participation and teamwork

The Herbal Garden became a lively sight as B.Pharm students planted saplings, watered them, and pledged to nurture and care for the environment. Their active involvement and dedication turned the initiative into a meaningful success, reflecting the values of empathy, responsibility, and societal contribution.

A Step Towards a Greener Future

ABESIT College of Pharmacy extends appreciation to all participating students, faculty members, and volunteers for making the drive impactful. Activities like this inspire young minds to protect nature and integrate sustainability into healthcare practices.

Together, we grow — towards a healthier planet and a healthier society.
