As part of National Pharmacy Week 2025, ABESIT College of Pharmacy proudly hosted the Medicinal Plant Exhibition 2025, offering students a hands-on opportunity to explore the wonders of nature and understand the medicinal value of herbs used in traditional and modern healthcare systems.

The event aimed to enhance awareness of pharmacognosyphytochemistry, and the therapeutic role of medicinal plants—encouraging students to appreciate the connection between nature, wellness, and drug discovery.

 Exhibition Highlights

 Display of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants
Students showcased a variety of plants used in Ayurveda, Siddha, and modern herbal medicine. Each plant was labeled with its botanical name, family, part used, and therapeutic applications.

 Student-led Presentations & Demonstrations
Participants enthusiastically explained the origin, active constituents, extraction methods, dosage forms, and pharmacological importance of each plant. Their engagement reflected strong conceptual grasp and communication skills.

 Interactive Knowledge Sharing
The exhibition created a space for meaningful discussions on phytopharmacologytraditional remediesherbal formulations, and the integration of natural therapies in present-day healthcare.
